The Little York

The Little York was recommended to us on a recent trip to Upper Black Eddy, PA. They caught our attention with their specials, so we decided to give them a try. I'm so glad we went! We started off with their apple walnut salad, which was big enough to share, and the beef short rib and potato soup. It was the best combination for such a cold fall day. The smash burger was juicy, flavorful, the fries were crispy and seasoned well, but the chicken thighs with charred pineapple... OH MY GOD. I substituted the potato for the broccoli and I was so happy I did. Every bite packed a ton of flavor and everything was cooked perfectly. Sadly, the thighs were on the menu with the specials, but I surely hope they will consider cooking them full time. It was definitely worth the drive over the bridge! Moving on to desserts, what do we do when we can't pick between two of them? We get them both, of course. We had the pumpkin tiramisu and the bourbon peach pie. I'm not a huge fan of whipped cream but theirs tasted really fresh! Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Good food, good people. Just wish they were closer to us so we would visit more often.

The BEST smash burger I have ever had. I messaged my husband as soon as I was done eating to let him know we are going back for more despite being a 45 min drive from home and in another state. But 100% yes!

I loved the food a little big but taste good I got the shrimp scampi and it was delicious the robust taste of the white wine was showing the flavor like smelling some flowers I loved the service here here kind not like some other restaurants but the atmosphere was amazing I love this place and don't get me with poset it was really strong with the lemon and lavender and it's just a genuine good place and _CALL ME THE FOOD CRITIC!!!!_ so in general I give this place a good old 5 star Follow me for finding good old American food not just America ,all food in one little state "the garden state" in new Jersey

We came on a whim to celebrate our grandmother’s health after 3 surgeries in the last 2 months. Friends said it was great but expectations were absolutely exceeded! This restaurant was easy, intimate and every single thing we ordered was amazing. Fresh salads & vegetables, thin & flavorful white pizza, clams, crunchwrap burger, chicken francese and coconut tres leches. The most difficult thing was deciding what to order! Although busy, it was not noisy. Decor and lighting were subtle and relaxing. Service is kind. We are so happy with our experience and can’t wait to come back later this summer to try more of the menu!

Best steak sandwich of my life! Only thing that made me sad was knowing it was a special and not a menu staple. My husband and I are new to the area but have heard ppl rave about the food at this place and it did not disappoint. We will absolutely be back! My husband got a burger and added bacon. He said it was the best bacon he’s ever had! Waitress was super friendly, vibes are on point, and the food lived up to the hype.

The Little York offers amazing food and service. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, but as it's a very popular spot, it does tend to be loud. All things considered, it's a great place to go for an evening out!

We had a fantastic time at Little York. This location includes a bar and a very cozy sit down area to enjoy a meal. Our waitress Kelly was excellent. We ordered a margarita pizza and the penne vodka and pleased with both. The Local Sunken Silo Marzen Lager beer is terrific. Overall this is as good as it gets when it comes to eating locally sourced ingredients and meats. I highly recommend trying them out and we will certainly be back.

It has been a long time since I visited the Little York. Wow, is it fantastic! The food, the service, the people. Try a Ribeye. Their steaks are better than most "Steak Houses". They have an assortment of local beer on tap. The staff and bar tenders are delightful.
